Fushan Si Temple

  When I was young, on some weekends, my mom would often take me to this breathtakingly beautiful temple, named “Fushan Si”. As soon as you arrive at the location, you will be greeted by two elegant green dragon statues on top of the roof, basking their scales under the sun. The interior of the temple is also undeniably glamorous and immense. Once you step inside the temple, you will sense the spiritual energy in the air, and the traditional scent of incense that’s not too overpowering. It’s extremely peaceful, as you can experience the sunlight, let the birdsong be a slave to your mind and you might even catch yourself stopping for a few minutes at a time to gaze at the well constructed figures of the Chinese gods. The grounds are decorated in nicely cut grass and all types of botany. It’s a thoroughly pleasant, and delightful view.
